Since its market launch in 2014 the Auris has gained an excellent reputation worldwide and it is one of the rare tube preamps capable of transferring its fabulous tonal characteristics to the best advantage to the rest of the installation or respectively co-impress it. All this caused us to further consequently fine-tune it in the background to make this preamp even more exceptional and put it to the utmost in every detail. We have reworked the output stage, the power supply, the phono stage (new phono re-design) ant the quality of the components has been readjusted on the decisive points, 

The low Output Impedance purist parallel Single-ended 6H30 circuit topology is using zero dB negative feedback. The Line Gain is customer Switchable, 0dB or +6dB. Therefore, the Auris II preamplifier is also very flexible in combination with any type of main amplifier. Of course, we have retained and even intensified the modular and upgradeable concept. Options unbalanced or fully balanced, Signature version and Phono MM/MC-H, MC option for all varieties. All existing Auris I version preamps can be retrofitted to the newest version II.

This “Reference” preamp represents the highest standard of preamp based on 6H30 design achievement. Excellence in engineering, a special tube rectified power supply and superior premium components provides a special magic to the reproduction of music. The performance of the new Auris II is outstanding, very musical and neutral, transparent and vivid in its presentation. There is a huge space of the recording environment reproduced with uncanny realism. It offers a holographic soundstage previously unavailable at this price class.

Vacuum Tubes
We believe that the simplest circuits work best together with the shortest signal path. The shorter the signal path is, the less possibility of sonic degradation from various sources, including the wire itself. Even on the circuit boards, the copper traces are kept to a very minimum length. The completely redesigned circuit board provides a more straightforward and direct approach to the signal paths.

Tube - Power Supply
The power supplies have been further refined with new components and enhanced AC line noise filtration. Low noise power transformer, chokes and filters provide total isolation between the input and output stages which makes this a pure power source. We also use electrolytic capacitors with much larger storage capacity to make up for the loss in filtering when using resistors in lieu of inductors.

      Dual Grounding System

      The modification of the grounding topology leads to increased rejection of noise from the power supply and other areas. The dual grounding topology used in all of our amplifiers is quite unique to the whole hi-end tube amplification industry. Such extensive topology provides for quieter backdrop for which the music can unfold in its entirety. 

      It further establishes the quick and controlled bass response and the full-bodied expression of the high frequency. The ground leg of the signal has not been neglected and given meticulous attention in its implementation. The importance of proper grounding cannot be over emphasized.

      Mechanical and Electrical Construction

      The high-grade aluminium chassis impart a richer, more lustrous tonality with a cleaner background and less hash and grain. All brushed anodized anti-vibration resonance and

      Optional Phono Board

      The optional Phono Amplifier contains the best possible Parts available on the Market today. It has a Gain of 45 dB for MM or MC-H Cartridges and 65 dB Gain for low Output MC Cartridges. The Input Load is fixed 47 K for MM-MCH. Remote selectable Load 100 Ohm, 470 Ohm and 1 K for MC.
