Studio headphones for recording & monitoring (closed)
Monitoring, Recording, Live Performance or DJing: the versatile studio quality, go-to headphone, for any device!
With the new DT 700 PRO X beyerdynamic presents its new closed back studio grade, professional headphone; suitable for monitoring, recording or DJing; in the studio, at the club, in any venue or at home, perfect for any situation. In addition, listen to your music on the go in exceptional sound quality, using your laptop, tablet or smartphone is made simple with the new STELLA.45, 48 Ω driver system. All in all, a truly flexible headphone that’s a wise investment for the years to come.
Unlike the open-back version of the PRO X, the DT 700 is the most versatile option if you want to do vocal recordings, play an instrument live, or simply use the headphones for monitoring purposes. The closed-back design of the DT 700 headphones is the most sensible option as they isolate the sound on both sides strongly, this ensures that there is no crosstalk during the recordings; plus, the playback or the beat is not captured/recorded via live microphones.
In addition to the above, when wanting to listen to your music or audio track in a noisy environment, the passive sound isolation from the closed-capsule design helps ensure that you can focus on listening with less audible distractions.
Professional Audio Quality
Trusted sound & high performance; the new STELLAR.45 driver.
Developed in Heilbronn Germany, the new STELLAR.45 driver delivers that proven beyerdynamic sound, but at a previously unattained level of performance, for such an all-rounder headphone. A strong neodymium magnet and a voice coil made of copper-plated high-tech wire make this possible. The conductivity and weight of the wire are perfectly balanced.
In combination with the newly developed three-layer speaker cone with integrated attenuating layer, the new PRO X headphones have a highly efficient driver system that has an impedance of 48 ohms. The transducer's fast response and detailed transient reproduction due to the lightweight voice coil ensures reliable sound without distortion, even at high sound pressure levels.
In addition, due to our newly developed PRO X absorber pads made out of acoustic damping materials that are placed in front of each driver, the treble frequencies are not only very balanced and smooth, but still very detailed.
The result are headphones that excite you, and help you excite others with your music.
Flexibility and Sustainability
A wide range of applications on all playback devices, time and time again ensures no limits to your creativity.
Anytime, anywhere - the STELLAR.45 driver, developed in Heilbronn Germany, reproduces the best studio-quality sound loudly and powerfully on all playback devices. Whether on an audio interface, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, there are no limits to your creativity or workflow.
The cable concept is also suitable for everyday use: the removable mini-XLR cable can be swapped out as required to be replaced with cables that have different lengths. Sustainable headphones – hand made in Germany using premium robust quality materials; almost all of the headphones' components can be replaced, therefore these headphones are an investment that makes sense for every user.
Comfort and Durability
Made in Germany from the highest quality materials.
The rugged spring steel headband construction gives the over-ear headphones a secure fit and ensures durability over time. The supple velour ear pads are soft to touch, as you would expect, and ensure comfortable air circulation. Thanks to soft memory foam, the headband adapts ergonomically to the shape of the head and, like the ear pads, it can be replaced when necessary. The robust and high-quality materials used to make these headphones in Germany go hand in hand when it comes to delivering both comfort and durability for years to come.
The DT 700 PRO X is a must-have piece of equipment for any creator, music lover or DJ that wishes to produce, mix or listen to amazing audio reproduction anytime, anyplace!
