Delivery and Returns

Delivery

What are your delivery timeframes?

Once you have received your shipping notification, please allow:

  • Metro delivery within 3-5 business days
  • Regional delivery within 7-10 business days
  • Remote delivery within 14-20 business days

All deliveries are subject to potential delay in areas impacted by flooding and other events.

Please note, your order may arrive in multiple packages from multiple carriers. Tracking information will be emailed to you upon dispatch.

Please allow up to 3 days to process your order. Once your order is shipped you will receive an email with tracking information. It can take up to 48 hours after you receive your shipping notification for your tracking details to become active with the courier.

We always strive to ensure on-time delivery, but there may be instances when packages may be delivered past the estimated date. 

 

Who will deliver my order?

We use several carriers to deliver our online orders. Depending on your order, it will be shipped with one or more of the below carriers.

The tracking link in your shipping confirmation email(s) will take you directly to the carrier’s website to track your package.

Change of mind returns

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Melbourne Hi Fi will offer you an exchange or refund provided that:

  • You return the item/s within 14 days of purchase;
  • You produce either your original Melbourne Hi Fi invoice or other adequate proof of purchase;
  • The item is in re-saleable condition, meaning that:
    - It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories; and
    - It is unused, unassembled and in its original condition; and
  • The product is not one where a change of mind return is not available (see below)

If these requirements are not satisfied Melbourne Hi Fi reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind returns.

Goods on which a change of mind return is not available

Melbourne Hi Fi will not accept the return of items from the following categories under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstances:

  • Discontinued / EOL products
  • Clearance or Ex-Display products

Click & Collect

Please make sure you wait for your collection email before heading to the warehouse as your item may not be available for collection. The email will include information about the collection process.

How does Click & Collect work?

Choose your products online

Add them to your shopping bag

Select Click & Collect as the delivery method at checkout

You will receive a collection notification email  – normally within 24 hours of placing an order

Collect your order from our warehouse

Make sure you bring your collection notification or photo ID

Collect from the warehouse door - located to the far left of the building next to the carpark

Is Click & Collect a FREE service?

Yes – Click & Collect is FREE for all orders with no minimum purchase value. 

How long do you hold Click & Collect orders?

We hold Click & Collect orders for 6 months from when you receive your collection notification.

If you do not collect your order within 6 months we cancel the items and refund the order back to the payment method used when placing your order, unless an alternative agreement has been made prior.

Can someone collect my Click & Collect order for me?

No - Only the person who made the purchase is able to collect.

We may allow family and friends to collect your order on your behalf. This will be approved on a case by case basis at the discretion of Melbourne Hi Fi and it’s staff.

Are all products available for Click & Collect?

Most items are available for Click & Collect but there are some exceptions. Click & Collect will be shown as a delivery method at checkout if it is available for your selected items.

 

Click & Collect collection

Where do I pick up my Click & Collect order?

Pick up your Click & Collect order from the warehouse door - located to the far left of the building next to the carpark. The warehouse address will be provided on the collection email.

We do not operate Click & Collect from the retail store. 

What time can I collect my order from the warehouse?

Please wait for your confirmation email prior to visiting the warehouse – normally sent within 24 hours of placing your order.

The warehouse opening hours are 9:30am - 5:30pm, 7 days a week.

What do I need to bring to collect my Click & Collect order?

For Click & Collect, make sure you bring

  • Your photo ID

  • Your order collection notification (on your phone is fine)

Can I get my Click & Collect order delivered?

You can get your Click & Collect order delivered, please contact us at support@melbournehifi.com.au to arrange delivery.

 

Returns

Melbourne Hi Fi will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where:

  • The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or

  • The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or

  • The product does not match the sample or our description; and

  • You can present your Melbourne Hi Fi invoice or other adequate proof of purchase.

Melbourne Hi Fi may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. Melbourne Hi Fi reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
