Complete Your Technics - Cartridge Upgrade

Why Dynavector?

Technics engineers the rotation. Dynavector reads the groove.
Dynavector’s Japanese-made moving-coil cartridges are a natural partner for Technics, sharing the same focus on precision engineering, accuracy and analogue performance.

Choose a Dynavector with your new Technics turntable and Melbourne Hi Fi will professionally mount, align and calibrate the cartridge on the supplied Technics headshell at no additional charge.

Two Japanese analogue specialists. One beautifully matched system.

Features

Easy, ready-to-go connection to various components thanks to the built-in Phono Equaliser and Cartridge

The SL-1500C is a complete turntable solution. It features built-in phono equaliser and bundled cartridge.

There is no need to separately prepare either one, making it easy to link with a wide range of audio equipment, so you can enjoy listening to your analogue records immediately.

Precise, stable synchronisation and powerful drive torque to prevent vibrations

In 1970, Technics revolutionised the turntable industry with the world's first direct drive system. Unlike traditional belt drive setups, our direct drive system minimize motor-induced vibrations, ensuring an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and long-term reliability without the need for frequent part replacements.

As an essential component for preventing vibrations, the chassis of the SL-1500C has a housing construction like that of high-end turntables. The result is a reproduction of the music in its full beauty and authenticity.

Automatic tone arm lift function to avoid wear and tear of your records and the cartridge

When the tonearm reaches the end of the record, the Auto Lifter function automatically raises the cartridge. This prevents unnecessary wear on your valuable vinyl records and stylus.

By embedding the Auto Lifter function in the base portion of the tonearm, it eliminates direct impacts to the tonearm. Due to a simple design that doesn’t use motor power, the functions required to playback records were kept to a bare minimum, achieving simple and easy-to-use operability.
