The AVC-X3900H is built for immersive surround systems, powering up to nine speaker channels while supporting 11-channel processing, allowing expanded layouts when paired with external amplification. This flexibility supports configurations such as 7.1.4 or 5.1.6, giving you more options for surround and height channels as your system evolves. Whether you’re prioritizing cinematic immersion, spatial accuracy, or future expansion, the AVC-X3900H provides a foundation for surround sound designed
around your room and listening style.

Directional subwoofer mode

Immerse yourself in powerful, evenly distributed lows with support up to four
subwoofers. Standard mode blends all subwoofers to smooth output across the room for consistent impact at every seat. You won’t hear audible peaks or dips—just deep, room-filling bass. Directional mode associates bass effects more closely with onscreen action, helping low-frequency energy feel intentional and controlled without overwhelming the room.

Advanced room correction and system optimization

The AVC-X3900H includes a built-in suite of Audyssey room correction tools, including MultEQ XT32, Sub EQ HT, Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, and Low Frequency Containment (LFC), to align speaker levels, timing, and tonal balance for clear dialogue and cohesive surround performance. For more precise system tuning, the AVC-X3900H offers an optional upgrade to Dirac Live tools including Room Correction, Bass Control, and Active Room Treatment.

The AVC-X3900H supports two-source, two- zone playback with dedicated audio pre-outs and one HDMI output just for zone 2, allowing different content to play in separate rooms simultaneously. A built-in web user interface provides access to system settings and controls directly from a computer or mobile device, without requiring the TV to be on. Designed for enthusiasts who want greater visibility and control, the interface mirrors core on-screen functions, enabling system adjustments, source management, and configuration from anywhere on your network.
